20x25cm Custom Watercolour IVF Embryo Painting
Smaller than a grain of rice. Bigger than words.
I created Tiny Beginnings Co. after my own IVF journey - because I needed somewhere to hold those early images that felt worthy of what they meant. Every piece I make carries that same intention.
— Bodhi, founder of Tiny Beginnings Co.How it works
From your image to a piece you'll treasure — here's what to expect.
Share your image
Choose how many embryos you want on the one page, select your primary colour, any text inclusions, and upload your ultrasound or embryo photo. Any quality works - we've worked with phone photos, scanner images, and clinic printouts.
We hand-create your piece
Your image is hand painted on archival watercolour paper, with honey based pigments. Every piece is unique - no two are ever identical. Framing can be added on - see other listings.
Yours to keep forever
Your finished piece arrives gift-wrapped and ready to display - a permanent, hangable memory of your most precious beginning.
Made with intention
Every piece is painted on 300gsm 100% cotton watercolour paper - the professional archival standard - in either hot pressed (smooth) or cold pressed (textured) finish depending on the painting. I use Sennelier L'Aquarelle watercolours, handmade in France since 1887. Their honey-based formula enhances luminosity, improves paint flow, and acts as a natural preservative, resulting in colours renowned for their brilliance, creamy texture, and exceptional longevity. All brushes are cruelty-free nylon - a deliberate choice to avoid the animal harm involved in traditional sable and squirrel-hair brushes.

Love Notes
Every piece holds a story. Here are a few we have the privilege of carrying.
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This piece is so much more than jewellery. The ultrasound necklace Bodhi created for me is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. The level of care, detail, and emotion she puts into her work is just incredible. She’s taken such a fleeting, sacred moment and turned it into something tangible, Something I can hold onto forever. From the moment I received it, I was completely blown away. It’s delicate, beautiful, and so thoughtfully made, but beyond that, it carries a depth of meaning that’s hard to put into words. You can truly feel the love and intention behind it. Bodhi has such a rare gift. Not just in her craftsmanship, but in the way she honours these deeply personal moments. If you’re considering one of her pieces, do it. Forever grateful 🤍
Received my image this week in the mail. And it's absolutely perfect. I love it so much. I've got it framed now and can't wait to hang it in our nursery. Such a talent and would highly recommend to be able to remember such a beautiful moment in time so tastefully. 💞
WOW the paintings have arrived and they are SOOOO beautiful!! Thank you so much. I can't wait to share them... trick is going to be keeping it a secret for a couple of months now. They are honestly even better than I could have imagined.
A hand-painted portrait of the embryo that started everything.
For IVF families who know exactly how much is held in that tiny, blurry image - this painting turns your embryo photo into something you can frame, display, and keep forever.
Every piece is painted by hand on 300gsm artist paper using professional watercolours. I work directly from your embryo photograph - whether it's a day-3, day-5 blastocyst, or any stage in between - and I'll add a name, transfer date, or short quote if you'd like.
